- Proteins from 11 sources provide 23g of proteins with high biological value per serving. They come from soya bean (2), rice, pea, wheat, milk, whey (2), casein, caseinate and colostrum. This combination is called SEC and enables the prolonged and sustained release ofAmino Acids over time, and combines:
- S-simple proteins with rapid absorption like colostrum and whey hydrolysate;
- E-essential proteins with moderate absorption provided by whey and pea isolate and concentrate, soya bean and its concentrate, wheat and milk protein;
- C-complex proteins with slow absorption due to the presence of casein and caseinate.
- Proteins contribute to growth and maintenance of muscle mass and to normal bone maintenance (EFSA).
- MULTIProtein in a SEC contains 9 essential amino acids, providing high quality protein-building blocks.
- BCAA 2:1:1 comprises three essential amino acids: L-leucine, which is highly concentrated in muscles and the adipose tissue where it participates in the energy-yielding and protein metabolism; L-valine, that is an integral part of the muscle tissue and is used by muscles during sport to obtain energy; and L-isoleucine, that takes part in the metabolic processes of proteins, glucose and fatty acids in the muscle tissue.
- L-glutamine is a conditional amino acid and is highly concentrated in the nervous system (where it participates as a neurotransmitter) and in muscles.
- The Omega 3 in MARNYS SPORTS® MULTIProtein in a SEC comes from vegetable sources with a content of 1.2g. Omega-3 essential fatty acids must be obtained through the diet and are particularly important for regulating the cell function, in the brain, heart, muscles, retina, liver, kidneys, skin and mucous membranes, adrenal glands and gonads, that is, essential for the maintenance of health.
- A multi-enzyme complex consisting of 5 enzymes: Amylase, Protease, Lactase, Lipase and Cellulase. These enzymes have got well-known digestive properties and are naturally found in saliva, gastric juice, pancreatic juice and intestinal secretions. Digestive enzymes facilitate the absorption of both proteins and amino acids.
